I'd originally illustrated the shoe for inclusion in another project.
When the scope of that project changed, I had to use it for something, right?
Since the Nike's design drew inspiration from the Chinese zodiac, hence the name "Year of the Dragon", it brought to mind my favorite "dragon" from my childhood, Bruce Lee. I thought I'd incorporate a few elements of classic Bruce Lee movie posters.
This was a personal project.
