On the short list that includes vehicles such as Speed Racer’s Mach 5, K.I.T.T from Knight Rider, the 1975 Gran Torino from the Starchy & Hutch TV series, and the Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1, the Batmobile from the 1966 Batman TV series sits atop my list of favorite pop culture vehicles (not including spaceships… that’s a different list).
